EE investments are implemented only in small quantities due to several reasons: planning of the energy costs are not paid enough attention by the municipalities, besides, the detailed action plans, which could assist in selecting primary target buildings for refurbishments, define the adequate technologies, and propose relevant funding sources, are also missing.
EE Pannonia aims to elaborate a joint Cross-Border Energy Efficiency Action Plan involving 9 Croatian and 9 Hungarian cities into joint EE analyses, with taking into consideration the opininon of the inhabitants. The cooperation will aid the implementation of energy certificates and provides professional support for the relevant national operative programmes.
The overall aim of the project is to establish a joint regional planning mechanism for the energy management of the border region, taking also into consideration the adequate RES technologies. Therefore the project contributes to the energy efficient management of the region and coaches the municipalities for the CSF programmes of the 2014-2020 period.
